Connie Bentley
Executive Coach
Connie provides strategic guidance and coaching to help ExecuNet members land their next opportunity. This includes uncovering their unique personal value proposition and defining competitive differentiators to advance their careers. This also includes providing detailed feedback for improving a member’s personal marketing collateral—well beyond their résumé.
As a former CEO, President and COO of premiere consulting, training and business services firms, Connie has rich experience addressing issues and opportunities in companies of all sizes and industries. Her experience includes designing and implementing a complete strategy change while in the role of COO at Zenger Miller where she subsequently became President and CEO.
While CEO at Zenger Miller, the company was acquired along with two other firms and combined into a new entity, AchieveGlobal. She was responsible for taking the three sales and consulting teams from the legacy companies and integrating them into a single sales and service function with revenue of $109M.
Most recently, Connie served as General Manager, USA for Scotland-based Insights Learning and Development. When Connie arrived at Insights, there were two jointly owned distributors and one wholly owned office in place. The strategic decision to buy out the managers and blend the three offices into one integrated Insights’ business in the US became Connie’s mission. Over Connie’s six-year tenure, with all that process and change management going on, the US business more than doubled revenues while delivering solid bottom line results.
Today, in addition to Executive Career coaching at ExecuNet, Connie is a Thinking Partner and Leadership Mentor, Connie is bringing all that she’s learned and experienced into her work as a catalyst for CEOs, Presidents and Owners to experience true business and professional breakthroughs.
She also serves on the Board of Directors for Whatcom Women in business, a not-for-profit organization that uplifts and recognizes women through their scholarships and Professional Women’s Awards. Connie received her BA in English from Boston University and studied Education and Learning Technology at Southern Connecticut State University.
