Ron Van Weelde

Ron provides strategic guidance and coaching to help ExecuNet Members land their next opportunity. This includes uncovering their unique personal value proposition and defining competitive differentiators to advance their careers. This also includes providing detailed feedback for improving a member’s personal marketing collateral—well beyond their resume.

For over the past three decades, Ron has successfully met the needs of executives seeking to leverage their careers into meaningful and rewarding growth opportunities. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a unique ability to intuit a “best fit” for both executives and corporate clients.

Ron’s experience in facilitating executives springs from being an Executive Search Consultant for a firm in New Orleans, LA. His initial practice focus was the Oil and Gas industry where he placed petroleum engineers, geologists, geophysicists, and landmen. He later founded his own firm and transitioned into the financial services market where his practice emphasis was corporate finance and capital markets roles for major domestic and international commercial banks, having US operations and market emphasis.

His primary career mission has been to provide advisory for global C-level executives who were considering, or were actually in the throes of, career transition. In addition to ExecuNet, Ron serves as Managing Director, Bryant Group, Orlando, Florida, an executive search firm.

Ron earned a BA, Education from Grand Valley State University and a MA, Education from Wayne State University. Prior positions include: Educator, Grand Haven, MI and serving as an Executive Search Consultant for some of the industry’s most notable firms. He has provided outplacement consulting services to a wide range of senior executives.
